Cooking and Dining
When you are finished cooking meal it is time to
serve it, and cooks need to take the appearance of their dishes
into careful consideration. Yet as with the other areas of cooking
and food preparation we have considered, there are many ways to
make both your cooking and dining attractive and well
received.
Good dining does not require expensive serving pieces, just clean,
attractive plates and silverwear. Even dining on a paper plates can
be a great experience because of the many different varieties of
plastic and paper plates available that mimic the appearance of
fine china. Just peruse the paper-goods aisle at your local
supermarket for more information. Or ask the manager, for he will
be glad to help.
Cooking and dining are like twins — if you have one, then you will
certainly have the other. Meals should therefore be prepared with
an eye towards the people who will actually be doing the eating. Do
not serve foods while you made with unpopular ingredients to strangers and
take into account the dietary habits of your guests. This will make
you a welcome host and will make people willing to return to your
table again and again.
